The complete W2C (Want to Cop) roadmap. From spreadsheets to agents to shipping, this is your end-to-end buying blueprint.
What Does W2C Mean?
W2C stands for 'Want to Cop' — community shorthand for 'Where can I buy this?' It is the most common question in rep communities. The answer involves three layers: finding the item (spreadsheets, image search, community posts), buying through an agent (OopBuy, etc.), and shipping to your door. This guide covers all three layers in detail.
Layer 1: Discovery
Start with curated spreadsheets like OopBuy Spreadsheet for vetted finds. Use AstroReps image search when you have a photo but no name. Browse community forums like FashionReps and RepLadies for haul reviews and batch comparisons. Follow Instagram rep accounts for visual inspiration — just be aware that their links may be affiliate-tagged.
Step 1Discover
Find items via spreadsheets, image search, or community
Step 2Research
Read reviews, check QC albums, compare batches
Step 3Buy
Submit the link to your agent with size/color notes
Step 4QC
Review agent photos, RL or GL the item
Step 5Ship
Choose a shipping line, pay, and wait
Step 6Receive
Unbox, review, and share your experience
Layer 2: The Agent
A shopping agent is your proxy buyer in China. You paste a product link (from Taobao, Weidian, etc.), specify size and color, and pay the agent. The agent buys from the seller, receives the item, takes QC photos, and forwards it to you. OopBuy is one such agent. The fee is typically 5-10% of the item cost plus domestic shipping within China. This fee is negligible compared to the protection it provides.
Layer 3: Shipping and Receiving
After you GL all items in your warehouse, the agent packages them together (or separately, your choice) and ships via your chosen line. Declare a reasonable value, remove unnecessary packaging, and add insurance for expensive hauls. Track your package and be patient. The moment it arrives, unbox carefully, inspect immediately, and take photos. If anything is wrong, contact your agent within 48 hours.
Building Your Trusted Sources
Over time, you will develop a personal list of trusted sellers, reliable agents, and go-to shipping lines. Keep notes. Some sellers specialize in specific categories — one might have the best Jordan 1s while another dominates hoodies. Share your findings in the community. The rep ecosystem thrives on collective knowledge. Your first haul might feel overwhelming, but by your third, you will be coaching newcomers.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an agent for every purchase?
For single low-risk items, some sellers offer direct shipping. But for QC photos, dispute protection, and consolidated shipping, agents are essential.
How do I find a seller's link?
Product pages on OopBuy Spreadsheet include direct Weidian/Taobao links. Community spreadsheets and Discord pins are also reliable sources.
Can I buy from multiple sellers in one haul?
Yes. Agents consolidate items from multiple sellers into one international shipment, saving you massive shipping costs.
